@eyedesyn An AI that creates awesome scene nodes setups, based on prompts, and that explain each steps and nodes functions as it cable them, to learn from 🤓 (Or just more tutorials and examples on all these new nodes that seems very powerful for procedural modeling and animations)

A few geeky facts about this project : the full render was launched in one go from a single scene. We splitted everything into different .c4d files (forest, sugar canes, barrels, etc..), that were all combined together in one #cinema4D project using a lot of nested X-Refs.

Last year, we collaborated with Omelet to create a single shot 60-second 3D animation for Don Papa Rum. Our team crafted a lush jungle that captures the vibrant spirit of the brand🌴

@cgpov True.. denoiser imagers can help in certain situations for SSS, but I see your point. We do most our DOF in post, but I wonder if you ever tried @zenopelgrims https://t.co/IvsVhirML3 ? It seems to improve bokeh quality a lot without high AA samples.

The Asset Server that comes with Deadline and AWS works really well, and keeps a cache of all your assets in an S3 bucket. When we needed to start a new render, Deadline was only uploading the files that changed, and the render was launched in just a few minutes. ⏱️🖥️🚀

@JayIsForJelly I wish there were more Cinema 4D animators 🙏 It's really hard to find experienced riggers and animators in C4D, almost non-existent in France.. Most of the time we work with Maya artists and alembic import, but recently we had some good times with iClone, easy yet powerful.

We can only speculate on when these tools will be able to produce smooth animations in any visual style, from a text description input. It might be a challenge to with temporal flickering between frames, but it'll happen. Ideas will be left to humans, for now😌
