@MikeSacksEsq Let me make sure I understand. The NLRB’s existence threatens states’ sovereign prerogative to allow businesses to take advantage of workers. And the way to mitigate that threat is…creating a more powerful federal executive whose enforcement decisions will depend on politics?
@AmesCG I guess there’s ~25 years to play with where we don’t know Thrawn’s relationship to Hux or the others leading the rise of the First Order, but we kinda already know how it all turns out.
@AmesCG The problem there is that the story is kind of boxed in. We know the Shadow Council succeeds in establishing the First Order, and that Project Necromancer succeeds in creating Snoke to lead it.
@AmesCG I think one of the (many!) reasons why Andor stood out so much is that it was a totally new type of story, just set against the backdrop of an existing universe, so we could jump into it in media res without the need for extra world building.
@AmesCG I dunno. I was never into the games, so I don't know anything about KotOR, but I'm worried that stories about the Jedi are running out of material, since there's only so much you can do with space wizards.
@AmesCG 💯 If I see an ad for “baby shoes, never used,” my assumption is that they were a gift from a relative who didn’t realize that babies don’t need shoes.
