@DanielTurnerPTF@60Minutes Wrong, and you know it. Keystone XL and the 14k jobs it was theoretically going to create never existed, so no one was "fired"
@JoelWBerry I'm so bored with these stories. Just because you were only capable of making rice and beans doesn't mean everyone else is. I guarantee you people on SNAP know how to bargain shop for ribs and make them last a week. And let the kids have some birthday cake, my god.
@Cookie_BigRick@victoria4nh That is true, and it's ridiculous. Rotisserie chicken in particular is cheap and healthy and we should want people to buy it.
🚨PALMER LUCKEY: "I am a big pro-natalist. I believe you need to have kids. If you don't have 2.1 kids minimum you're a traitor to the nation and our ideals. You're basically outsourcing responsibility for the continued existence of our nation to other people. That seems like a super elitist attitude, like you f**king elitist. 💀
It's like a mentality of 'I'll let the cattle reproduce. They can keep up the population but I don't want to raise more than one,' it seems like an abdication of responsibility for our nation's future direction that I just can't get behind.
If you have the means to do it, its crazy to me to not have at least 2.1 kids. You can say 'I did my part. I met replacement rate. Meeting replacement rate should be the bare minimum. If you plan on dying you should at least replace yourself."
LMAO. Based @PalmerLuckey. Based autist. 😂🔥
@oliviercantin@mattyglesias You clearly know what the fraud is, so explain the fraud. Then explain how cutting an entire program’s budget only affects those committing fraud.
This has been in use since the 1950’s, and it’s analog for a reason. It’s like DOGE are a bunch of Severance innies just discovering the outside world.
Federal employee retirements are processed using paper, by hand, in an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. 700+ mine workers operate 230 feet underground to process ~10,000 applications per month, which are stored in manila envelopes and cardboard boxes. The retirement process takes multiple months.
@SecVetAffairs Are you going to cancel the subscriptions to the magazines in the VA waiting rooms while you're at it? Can't have taxpayer dollars subsidizing Car & Driver
It’s important for us scientists to articulate that the NIH cuts are surgically cruel: designed not to save money, but to maximally implode the capacity and infrastructure for research; research that saves and improves lives around the world. Why? Just cruelty.
@NewmanZach187@jonfavs My man you’re the one saying you want to solve world hunger. Unless you’re planning a long trip and packing a lot of snacks for everyone, maybe let the government agency specifically designed for the job handle it.
@JDVance It is officially the Administration's view that openly and publicly stating that you are, in fact, a racist does not prohibit your continued employment. Noted.
