@DonniePetty@Bashkaai They could pick up the heretical Mirror Bible or the cult-made New World Translation and hypothetically have that same experience.
If a starving man is saved by eating a dead rat I'm not going to start feeding dead rats to everyone.
@RevReads289 In order for that to be true, when the verb "chosen" is used with God as the subject and salvation as the topic, it would have to basically never be the case that the object of the verb "chosen" is a people/person. Changing the *who into a *what is adding to the scriptures.
@EvanPaul05 There is a difference between "i think he's wrong" and "he's carry out a malicious act against us." Again, you need to be more careful concerning how you speak of your brothers in Christ.
@EvanPaul05 Whether Calvinism is the most accurate representation of how God brings about salvation or not, you should still consider that maybe your objections to Calvinism are mostly based upon your own philosophical presuppositions that can't be justified biblically. You should be careful
@EvanPaul05 I dont think that the claim of most calvinists is that specifically and only "faith" is the gift. Here's a good understanding of the calvinist position: https://t.co/RgfScZxFO4
@J17apologetics "In Calvinism God will decree that you crucify the messiah, and then blame you," just doesn’t have the same gotcha value, does it? Maybe slow down a little bit.
@DPGBehler Yes. They grumbled because they didn't believe He is the bread come down from heaven. Not believing Jesus is the bread come down from heaven is unbelief in Him for eternal life. Just like v. 37 & 64, both of which come before similar statements on God's giving/drawing/granting.
