@RoninAOW @EsotericRambles @teomanonline_ You would never be taxed on that £1k cash. You are taxed on the interest earned on that £1k. E.g at 4% interest you would earn an extra £40. You pay £8.80 in tax so you have £1031.20. The original £1k from selling your shares is never taxed.
