@normal_danny Obviously disappointing but in the spirit of egalitatarianism there are two sides to every story, and hope Nick gets an opportunity to put his across. He did a lot of good for parkrun and this could have been a mistake or misunderstanding.

Between us, we have run @marathon_mcr 7 times and paid lots of good money towards it. So to treat long standing regulars of your event like this after all the issues around astonishingly long bag drops and short courses is very poor. Needless to say we won't be back @RunningisBS

Absolutely disgusted with @Marathon_Mcr . My wife has suffered from a post-partum injury which is preventing her running. If she was pregnant she could have a refund/defer. If she had covid she could have a refund/defer. But post-partum complications? No refund OR deferral.
