@BBCBreaking 2/2 (Tesla) and instead of the UK government taking the money, they give the tariff proceeds to the manufacturer on a per car basis, so they in turn, could offer a 25% discount on the cost price to the US importer. What exactly does this achieve? Have i missed something?
@BBCBreaking 1/2 So let me get my head around the USA import tariffs. All cars imported from the UK are subject to a 25% import tariff, that is then paid to the US government to fund USA businesses. Now if the UK were to also charge the same 25% import tariff on cars imported from the USA,
@elonmusk It's cheap if it fossil. We need to move away from cheap. Food can be cheap but it's shit. The same with energy, just because it's cheap doesn't make it good!
@shap89131934@raimonick Who said don't charge to 100%? The reason this myth is going around is the fast public chargers no longer fast charge over 80% so the last 20% could take as long as the previous 40%. Charging to 100% at home is fine just don't leave the car for days unused on a full charge.
