Breaking: The WilCo votes are in! Mayor Kirk Watson is the apparent winner in the Austin mayoral race. We're live on the CW at 9 and @KXAN_News at 10.
Watson is at 50.004% of the overall vote. 175,090 total votes, so 14 above the runoff threshold.

Significantly lower turnout to start than HOME Ph. 1 hearings last year
Elated to support Phase 1 of Council Member Pool's HOME Initiative and the passage of the elimination of occupancy limits. These efforts greatly help further the ability for all types of people to live in all parts of town here in Austin! 👏🏡
