For Andrew Benning, success is built one small win at a time.

Andrew and his wife, Madison, farm alongside his family in Franklin County, raising corn, soybeans, cattle and hogs. Last week we had a chance to visit the family farm and learn how they’re growing the operation while investing in its future through new opportunities and improvements.

Andrew also works as a real estate salesman specializing in farmland. He’s passionate about serving agriculture and his community, helping young farmers get started in the cattle industry and supporting agricultural advocacy through Iowa Farm Bureau and the Iowa Cattlemen's Association.

As one of Iowa Farm Bureau's 2026 Young Farmer Leadership Award recipients, Andrew is being recognized for his leadership, service and commitment to Iowa agriculture.
