Us: your honor, this case is about stolen luggage
Judge: yep
Us: given the facts and law are undisputed, we think this will be a brief case
Judge: get out
1. I'm excited to share my new article. It is a playbook on how to decentralize off-chain activities in a manner that allows a DAO to operate efficiently while remaining "sufficiently decentralized."

This article is so amazing I don't even know where to begin. Let's dig into this beauty of an interview with Su Zhu and Kyle Davies.

@lawtoshi Cod3x has been extremely helpful during my journey to learn more about these subject matters and get plugged in with the crypto law community, thanks for your work!
1/ Now live on the Cod3x, an overview of all actions the FTC has taken with respect to crypto. This is a new addition to the treatise section of the Cod3x (§ 1.15 to be exact!). Topics covered:

@dcinvestor agreed, kind of reminds me of like an old school RuneScape model. maximizing exposure through f2p gives users access to the knowledge they need to join more “diehard” communities and convert to p2p if they want, or simply stay casual. console is just another barrier to entry
@dcinvestor this feels like a 2D response to a 3D problem - raising the walls of the garden to prevent losing critical mass of users instead of a greenhouse approach allowing for both parties to benefit from one another
centralized entities don’t want to open up the slippery slope where they lose control over in-game assets
i get it, but also, it will be inevitable
gamers will eventually realize that their business models of incessant micro transactions aren’t better for them
Decentralization supposedly lies at the heart of DAOs and crypto but what does it mean?
@BLulinski & @david_m_kerr explore why the crypto community values and organizes around the concept of decentralization in a paper for the @daoresearchco.

TL;DR 🧵
More money isn't always the solution.
I see this with my lawyer and doctor friends.
They make a TON of money, yet they're stressed from their debts.
• Bigger Houses
• Private schools
• Nicer Cars
They're trapped because of an internal pressure to maintain an "image."
