“Ok so the ancient Hebrews were nothing like the modern Jews. They were mystics seeking the transcendental Source of creation, the one true God. Their aim was to reunite with this Ultimate Reality in the afterlife. However, it was basically impossible because they realized the Absolute is surrounded by an impenetrable wall of Fire that burns up everything earthly and impure.

This is what Hell actually is. But anyways, beyond that, there is an unpierceable cloud of Divine Darkness, and beyond that, there is, of course, the Uncreated Light. So yeah, the ancient Hebrews tried to purify themselves by fasting, praying, and making sacrifices. No sacrifice was big enough for an Infinite and Eternal Being though. Luckily, some ancient Hebrews became friends with God, or prophets. And the prophets said there was hope.

They said God would incarnate in the flesh as the Christ and sacrifice Himself. This would create a bridge between humanity and Heaven. It would cross over the wall of Fire and through the cloud of Divine Darkness. All the ancient Hebrews had to do was accept the God-man as their savior. But when the God-man finally arrived, He was not accepted. In fact, He was hated. The ancient Hebrews had become proud of their spiritual knowledge, hardening their hearts towards such a simple and humble Messiah.

Outwardly, they were clean, but inwardly, they were still impure. They didn’t understand that simply loving the God-man would cleanse them from the inside out. They didn’t understand that real transformation happens internally, then externally, and not the other way around. They had it all backwards. They cared about appearances. So, they expected the King of the Cosmos to look and act like literal royalty.

Long story short, that’s why they called the God-man an imposter and killed Him, just like the prophets said they would. And that’s why sick and sorry sinners so easily accepted Him. They had the humility to know they needed help, while the ‘righteous’ wanted to keep their status and authority. Then, after the Crucifixion, the Hebrews had their Temple destroyed by the Romans. All their Holy Texts were lost!

Thankfully, newly converted Christians had already copied the Old Testament. So, the Jews were able to recopy it from them. But they rewrote some of the prophecies about the God-man to make it seem like the Messiah wasn’t actually the historical Jesus Christ. Then, for some weird reason, they also wrote the Talmud and added it to their outdated religion. And yeah, that’s how it all happened. But it gets even crazier when the Great Schism happens.”
