@mwgjerde@drvolts@rgodfrey It’s not a sissy vacuum cleaner for girls.
It’s a gigantic experimental vacuum cleaner. Super macho. Smells like bourbon and campfire.
@ramakmolavi@mmitchell_ai That seems to be what the megacorps are really talking about when they attack open/freely available tools vs their own closed, proprietary systems
@bearraza@metrolaalerts@metrolosangeles I've been riding metro since they opened the subway, so I've experienced all manner of extreme randomness. They really should keep everyone better updated, and hopefully the ambassadors will help.
Sadly, they need to ditch their "x" accounts since posts here require login
@HowardA_AtLaw @VodSquadCaptain If you're in New York, your biggest, most legitimate fear is all the other Jews identifying you as pro-genocide
That must be hard for you
@MattMasonCA@HaveAGo@metrolosangeles The person asking what was going on hadn't checked the relevant "x" account, so the ambassadors would have been able to provide helpful info. Sounds like we should have more of them.
@bearraza You're suggesting that the first thing train operators should do when a person gets hit on the tracks is drop everything and personally contact the PR twitter account?
@MattMasonCA@HaveAGo@metrolosangeles They've saved at least 52 lives and contributed to reduced crime and huge increase in perceived safety.
And they most likely would have know about someone getting hit by a train, and the connecting bus shuttle, since metro posted about it.
@patelkavit @AttilaBubby@YIMBYLAND @SteveyCOYS You grew up in this for over 20 years and now you want to make sure no one else has access to it like you did and has to move hours away from jobs and resources 👍🫡
@shashj "Israel is so incompetent they've accidentally slaughtered thousands of children, and now, well aware of the civilian deaths, they are also going to keep it up, blind to all consequences."
That actually sounds *worse* that just admitting they're doing it purposefully.
@Cobylefko@wmcintyre84@FrancisPSantora I've actually tried to use that streetcar for transportation. It's gorgeous, evocative, nostalgic.
And as far as infrastructure goes, it's a sculpture.
