I've reached a stage in life where I feel there’s value in experiencing the full spectrum of what being human can offer. Since my time in Thailand, I’ve increasingly come to see gender and femininity as existing on a spectrum rather than as rigid absolutes.
I've always found myself drawn more to qualities like intelligence, empathy, honesty and connection than to conventional ideals of masculinity or physical stereotypes. I go to the gym and look after myself, but I’ve never been particularly attracted to the sculpted "alpha male" image.
If labels are necessary, perhaps sapiosexual fits to some extent. I’m attracted to Trans women, absolutely. Attracted to cis women? Absolutely. For me, attraction has always been more nuanced than ticking predefined boxes.
I’m also exploring elements of dom/sub dynamics, though not in the strictest BDSM sense. For clarity, consent and communication are fundamental and non-negotiable.
There’s something liberating about stepping outside expected norms and questioning the boxes society places around us. I just wish more people saw others simply as human beings rather than trying to force everyone into categories and labels.
Thank you for attending my TED Talk
Before pride month starts im just gonna say this:
-men’s mental health month is in November
-straight pride isn’t a thing. Nobody has ever been oppressed or killed for being straight
-veterans get 2 months. May and November
So do some research before complaining :)
Vor Jahren europäischer Spitzenreiter für queere Rechte. Heute Platz 22. Bei der rechtlichen Anerkennung von trans Personen Platz 44 von 49. Großbritannien ist dort gelandet, wo auch Russland steht. Rechte verschwinden nicht plötzlich. Sie werden politisch abgeräumt.
As a gay man who has been on the receiving end of homophobic violence, I would love to abolish male threats against gender non conforming presentation!
Given it’s a byproduct of misogyny, you know that’s not going to happen any time soon - although all men need to fight it as hard as we can. As a gay man I clearly feel that acutely!
There’s no evidence base about trans women using men’s toilets because it’s almost never happened.
You know perfectly well what will happen if suddenly trans women start accessing men’s toilets. Putting people presenting as the opposite gender in that environment would result in abuse, humiliation and violence.
Trans women know this and will simply stop using public toilets, which will mean withdrawing from society.
The idea businesses, organisations and local authorities will invest in creating and maintaining third spaces is a fantasy - and you know it.
I would respect you more if you simply said “yes life will be made significantly harder for trans women, trans men and butch lesbians, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay.”
In practise you’ve helped create a law which combines being both unjust and impractical, and which makes us an outlier among Western nations.
It will do nothing to reduce the rate of male violence against women, the principal causes of which have been ignored because of Britain’s anti-trans hysteria.
As a result, this law will - in time - collapse, and history will make its judgements accordingly.
Enjoy your victory while you last! And that’s the thing. None of you are behaving like you’ve won anything. Telling!
A Message to Every Company in the United Kingdom.
Do not comply with the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces.
Not because the law does not matter. Because you already know what this guidance actually does and what it will cost you to implement it.
You know that transgender women using men’s facilities will be subjected to humiliation, abuse and violence. You know that your duty of care to your employees and customers does not stop at the door of a toilet. You know that a transgender woman on your staff who is sent to the men’s changing room is a transgender woman you have placed in danger.
You know this. Act like it.
The EHRC guidance states that you may apply biological sex distinctions where proportionate. It does not require you to do so. May is not must. Proportionate is not absolute. You have discretion. Use it.
Keep your transgender inclusive policies. Keep your gender neutral facilities. Keep the cultures you have built that allow transgender employees to work safely and transgender customers to shop, travel, eat, access services and exist in your spaces without being degraded or endangered.
Here is what happens if you comply.
Your transgender employees leave. The ones who stay are placed in daily danger. Your customers who are transgender stop coming. Their allies, the people who love them, the people who stand with them, who make up a significant and vocal part of your consumer base, notice. They notice and they do not forget and they make choices about where they spend their money accordingly.
Your brand becomes associated with the decision to prioritise a contested legal guidance over the safety of some of the most vulnerable people in your workforce and customer base.
That is not a legal requirement. That is a choice.
Here is what happens if you do not comply.
You stand on the right side of a legal battle that is coming. Because the scientific evidence for why people are transgender, the neuroscience, the genetics, the prenatal hormone research, the global medical consensus, the four thousand years of documented gender diversity across every human culture, is going to court. A mass class action is being built. Every company that implemented this guidance, that turned away a transgender employee or customer, that removed inclusive policies under pressure from a guidance that said may not must, will be part of that record.
Every company that held the line will also be part of that record.
History is being written right now in the policies you choose to keep and the ones you choose to abandon.
The science does not support what the EHRC guidance produces in practice. The evidence does not support it. The medical consensus does not support it. The companies that understood this early and acted accordingly will not need to explain themselves later.
The companies that complied will.
You have discretion. You have duty of care. You have values statements on your websites that say you are committed to inclusion, to dignity, to the safety of every person who works for you and every customer who walks through your door.
Now is when those statements mean something or they do not.
Do not comply.
Protect your people.
The law gives you the room to do it.
Use it.
Fight @bphillipsonMP@EHRC@LGBTLabour@Keir_Starmer@nhs@UKLabour@GoodLawProject
To Every Transgender Woman in the United Kingdom.
Do not use men’s toilets.
Not because the fight is not worth having. Because everyone with any sense knows what happens to a transgender woman who walks into a men’s toilet in this country. You know it. The people who wrote this guidance know it too.
Humiliation. Abuse. Violence.
They are not naive. They knew exactly what they were creating. A ruling that cannot be safely followed is not a ruling. It is a trap. Built to push transgender women out of public life by making every available option either dangerous or degrading.
So what actually happens now is this.
Transgender women do not use men’s toilets. They stop going certain places. They plan their days around where it is safe to exist. They shrink. Not because they want to. Because the alternative is putting themselves in physical danger every time they need to use a public facility.
That is the design. That is what this was always for.
But here is the thing.
Every time a transgender woman is turned away from a space she should be in, that is evidence. Every incident of harassment in a facility she was forced into, that is evidence. Every job lost, every appointment missed, every ordinary moment of public life made impossible by this guidance, that is evidence.
Document it. Every single time.
Because the scientific case for why transgender people are transgender is airtight. The neuroscience. The genetics. The prenatal hormone research. The twin studies. The four thousand years of documented gender diversity across every human culture on earth. Every major medical institution on the planet has endorsed this body of evidence.
That evidence goes to court against a government that built its policy on ideology dressed as science.
It has no legs.
The government has been fighting Freedom of Information requests. Suppressing death data. Calling the people who raised the alarm dangerous. Because when the full scientific record sits in front of a judge the policy cannot survive contact with it.
Transgender people were transgender before the EHRC existed. They will be transgender long after this guidance is overturned.
Document everything.
Then take it to court.
@bphillipsonMP@EHRC@nhs@LGBTLabour@UKLabour@Keir_Starmer@GoodLawProject
Trans people should ignore the EHRC guidelines and take them all to court. Once the cases start on a large scale and supply the courts with the biological information of why people are transgender, it will all be overturned.
As a cis woman if this idiotic guidance sees you get mistaken for trans in *any* way and denied access, sue the public organisation, sue the idiot who decided to play toilet inspector that day & be uncompromising. People only learn the hard way and that hard way is bankruptcy.
Joint Statement: Paul Holden and Andrew Feinstein Regarding Labour Together, APCO and the Labour Party
On Wednesday last week we received documents from Labour Together following Subject Access Requests that we submitted to Labour Together in February 2026. The documents provided by Labour Together are deeply disturbing.
They show that Labour Together and APCO targeted us, our colleagues, our associates and Paul’s family with utterly false and highly defamatory allegations, and that this was done with the knowledge of the highest levels of the Labour Party. Indeed, we are now of the view that the operation to investigate us, our families and associates was effectively a joint operation run by the Labour Party, Labour Together and APCO.
This highly invasive campaign was launched because of Paul’s factually accurate reporting. This reporting raised serious questions about whether Labour Together and Morgan McSweeney deliberately failed to report £730,000 in donations to the Electoral Commission in violation of the law. It is now plain that Sir Keir Starmer benefited from the work funded by these donations and that they facilitated his rise to power.
We are calling for a full inquiry into Labour Together.
We also call on Sir Keir Starmer to clarify his role in this scandal. Considering the documents that have been disclosed to date, we find it nearly inconceivable that Sir Keir Starmer did not know about this despicable project that included Labour Together reporting us to the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), a part of GCHQ, based on utterly false and highly defamatory allegations. These highly defamatory allegations were then shared with at least one major newspaper outlet.
The newly released documents reveal six important facts.
First, they show that Morgan McSweeney and Paul Ovenden were aware of the APCO and Labour Together investigation into us from at least January 2024. McSweeney was the Labour Party’s head of campaigns and subsequently Sir Keir Starmer’s Chief of Staff in Number 10. Paul Ovenden was the Director of Labour Party communications and subsequently Head of Strategy in Number 10.
The emails show Simons arranging a meeting between himself, Ovenden, McSweeney and Tom Harper, a senior APCO employee, to discuss the investigation into us. A third Labour employee was copied into the email, but, because of redactions, we do not know who this is. We ask the Labour Party to confirm who else was copied into this correspondence.
The excellent @PeterKGeoghegan and Democracy for Sale have confirmed with a Labour Party source that the intended meeting did take place.
Second, they show that APCO’s Tom Harper actively coached Josh Simons and Labour Together on how to submit a ‘crime complaint’ about us to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ. Harper provided text for Simons to submit to the NCSC. The decision to complain about us to the NCSC was made only days after Simons had emailed McSweeney, Ovenden and Harper about APCO’s upcoming report into us, asking for a meeting to discuss its contents.
Third, Josh Simons has repeatedly claimed in public that he appointed APCO to investigate a ‘hack’ of Labour Together materials. But the new documents show that Labour Together and Simons did not conduct any meaningful cybersecurity review to establish whether materials had been hacked from Labour Together, or where else they may have been sourced from.
Labour Together did, however, appoint a cybersecurity expert to review a potential hack in late 2025. This review, a summary of which has now been disclosed to us, shows that there was no ‘hack’ of Labour Together. This is obviously true, as we have repeatedly explained that the investigation into Labour Together was based on documents legally leaked from the Labour Party by whistleblowers concerned about misconduct by the Party’s most senior officials, open-source materials, and Freedom of Information requests.
Fourth, they show that Josh Simons and Labour Together told the NCSC that they were reporting us because they were concerned that Paul’s reporting ‘may be a co-ordinated effort to discredit Labour Together in order to undermine Mr McSweeney and by extension, Mr. Starmer in the run-up to next year’s general election.’ It is our view that this joint Labour Together, Labour Party and APCO operation was launched because Paul’s factually accurate reporting would have shed light on the highly problematic and unlawful aspects of Sir Keir Starmer’s rise to power.
Fifth, they show that APCO had sent a ‘case summary’ to Josh Simons of Labour Together on the 20th of November 2020, on the basis of which APCO were contracted by Labour Together two days later. The ‘case summary’, setting out a proposed scope of work, clearly identified us as journalists. From the very beginning, therefore, APCO and Labour Together knew that they were looking to investigate journalists – the very journalists who were reporting accurately on Labour Together, Morgan McSweeney and undeclared donations.
Sixth, they show that Simons wrote to an unknown person at the Labour Party in November 2023 asking for ‘intel’ on us. This shows that Simons’ immediate response to announcement of Paul’s book was to seek the assistance of the Labour Party. At the time, we were both Labour Party members. The reply to Simons’ request has been redacted in our documents. We call on the Labour Party to release all documents to us relevant to this scandal, and to confirm whether Josh Simons, Labour Together or APCO were provided with any of our private, personal information.
