@Aivars_Meijers That's 100% true, especially if you measure success only by revenue.
And the first couple of years are brutal, long hours of work and questioning yourself.
@danpdev CDN is the answer besides general optimisation of assets like images and fonts. Lazy loading images.
Checking core web vitals is a good starting point.

@Aivars_Meijers This video is inspiring, sharing the numbers and the years of work really puts everything into prospective! Great video @Aivars_Meijers
@ka11away Next.js and then add things as you go.
Supabase for DB + Auth and it has good documentation for Next.js
I suggest Zustand instead of Redux, much more lightweight, way less boilerplate code to set up.
It was a wonderful experience participating in #BigAIHackathon with @maxdyy, and I’m happy to share that our project won 2nd place! 🥈 We’ll be sharing it soon 👀
A big thanks to the people at @BigCommerceDevs and @googlecloud for their support, and for putting on this event! 🙌

Hardworking curious Junior Dev > Know-it-all haughty Senior Dev
If you're starting your dev career, be genuinely curious and open to solving problems.
It's still all about people.
Companies always pick those who want to learn and help.

@IdaszakDaniel Actually chatGPT for brainstorming, rewriting some parts in more creative ways, making variations, etc.
It’s not going to do the whole job for your, but it’s a good support. Give it a shot Daniel 👌🏻
To all junior devs, don't be ashamed of googling things, even the simplest ones.
I've been writing code for the last 6 years and I still have to google how to select elements in CSS 😅
