@JonahDispatch Why is it a bad idea? We need to take Trump at his word. He’s going to go after these people. If Biden did it for Hunter (which was a terrible idea), he most certainly should do it for Liz Cheney, et al. Preemptive pardoning for them makes sense.
@Commentary And, great, if he was asked to attend by the families of the fallen, go. Show your respect, your condolences. Crow about it all you want. But don’t make it a campaign commercial. He way crossed the line.
@Commentary I am seriously thinking of canceling my subscription to Commentary. Very hacky, very biased, like listening to NewsMax. C’mon, sec 60 at Arlington is where our recent dead are buried. Parents, spouses, children are still around. What Trump did was disgraceful.
@Commentary The whole thing was an obvious attempt to respond to Trump’s stupid Medal of Honor comments. He has not a clue what it means to sacrifice and serve in the military. And apparently the same is true of Commentary’s editors. Utterly shameful. I expected more from Commentary.
@JonahDispatch@stephenfhayes Great podcast. Enjoyed both of you. But your Dispatch roundtable podcast today spent 5+ mins on Harris’s never issuing a statement condemning the protests at Union Station. That’s wrong. She did issue a statement. You need to issue a correction.
@GovRonDeSantis@ChristinaPushaw He should’ve posted more of this when he was running for president. Loving dogs = good person. (Trump doesn’t like dogs.)
@SykesCharlie Charlie, Thank you so much for your podcast. My son introduced me to you ~ 2016. I’ve been listening ever since. I’m so sad to see you go. But thank you for Tim Miller. For most of my life (61 yo) I was in the GOP. No more. You are a beacon.
