@CllrPLilley@lewis_goodall@RHHarrowRoad@db68DS@AdamHug And final point, noise, disabled access, deliveries etc. are all valid reasons to consider, but isn't it your job to work out how to overcome them and keep Soho growing?
@CllrPLilley@lewis_goodall@RHHarrowRoad@db68DS@AdamHug In response to your first point, outdoor seating is very different to outdoor dining. I still have no idea why you see this as a negative thing. If you love Soho, why wouldn't you want to improve its social and economic opportunities?
@CllrPLilley@lewis_goodall@RHHarrowRoad@db68DS@AdamHug Funny that you resort to two ad hominem attacks rather than engage with the point I made. Doesn't really inspire confidence in the council's ability to listen to criticism.
@deanstreet97@lewis_goodall Stepney Green. Huge improvement over the last 13 years. Deliberate policies focused on improving licensing, temporary events, etc.
@DinahLeeKung@lewis_goodall Surely sensible solutions can be found to ensure disabled access. No doubt paid for by the huge increase in revenue businesses would see
@CllrPLilley@lewis_goodall@RHHarrowRoad@db68DS@AdamHug This is so disingenuous. We all know the very few places with outdoor seating are impossible to get a table at on a nice day, or are in private member clubs. The lack of vision from Westminster Council to see this as an opportunity is astonishing.
@MJtweetings@lewis_goodall Such a weak argument. It's four streets. Deliveries can easily be arranged for other times, taxis can be hailed from the street next door, and disabled ramps installed. This attitude is why London continues to decline.
@PDimoldenberg Quiet nights? Seriously??
The whole range of policy choices from rent relief on new businesses to pedestrianisation and this is all you can offer? Utterly pathetic.
