@DeuceMason You’ve got it backwards. Adelman tricked a generation of global fans (inc me) into falling in love with a small market team from NorCal, and condemned us to decades of disappointment. His crimes cannot be forgiven!
@wealthissimple@MattGeorgeSAC Where was the lie? He may well have wanted to stay in Sac, but he also wanted to win. That requires that the team matches his degree of competency, and they didn’t. You’d rather have players who are satisfied with mediocrity and letting the owners leech fans year in, year out?
@munyachawawa All I hear is them crying because they know Bruno is going to win PFA PotY. Some people don’t deserve trophies. I think they’re actually happier when they lose, it’s what they’re comfortable with.
@AnythingArs_ There is already a prize for the best *collective* performance. It’s called the premier league trophy, or league title, and is given to the team with the most points. PotY is an Individual award and thus doesn’t depend on anything apart from that player’s performance.
@TLG861@Ankaman616 No sensible person expected 15th to 3rd. It’s like going all in on 7/2 off suit and ending up with a full house. Yes, you won, but how you got there was luck, not brilliance.
@ronaldobrownn_ £100k a week for a player coming from the same setup as Højlund, who’s not a national team regular and should be in his prime? Maybe the advanced analytics tell a story I’m not seeing, but on surface it looks a lot.
@NoDunksInc what does it mean when the average score difference in the final game of each series is more than 20pts? Teams not getting eliminated so much as getting terminated.
@Postdiluvian@AFP@MazMHussain Except it’s just not true. You think the Chinese govt isn’t capable of just making an exception because his role has changed? They literally make the rules and lists, of course they can change them.
