As expected, Supreme Tridev Chief Protestors, Abhijit Dipke, Saurav Dass and Ashutosh Ranka have rejected the government of India's notification to have protests shifted from Jantar Mantar(which has been denotified as a protest venue) to 3 other grounds(Ramlila Maidan, Burari, CBD) in Delhi.

Since they have to protest for the sake of protest, I would still like to indulge them here.

Jantar Mantar was 1.3 kms from the Parliament, the other 3 grounds are 3, 6 and 9 kms respectively from the Parliament.

So what is the problem in protesting at these grounds?

I still remember going more than a month without electricity in May-june 2011.

The hope in our eyes was something else. Every day, we'd check the news to see when the monsoon would hit the Kerala coast. The anticipation, the excitement, the collective prayers for baarish... it was unmatched...

And the calmness??? No Doraemon, no IPL, no TV serials, no 24/7 news cycle. Just Radio FM, family, neighbours and meaningful human interaction.

People actually talked to each other...... Imagine that.

Living without screens and distractions, all you have is pure human connection...

We were living the slow life people these days dream of.... Honestly, today they spend thousands on digital detox retreats to experience what we got for free.

It was perfect.
It was beautiful. 😭❤️
