Stony Brook is removing all the stickers letting people know to stand 6 ft apart. Even with the vaccine, the Delta variant and future mutations can still cause some heavy damage.
There are several regions of the world going on lockdown.
America is NOT prepared for this strain.
I ended up having to file a report to the Civil Rights Division about the academic abuse I received from my petrology professor.
Does anyone have any advice on what to expect? How to move forward?
Someone, please tell me why $14,600-$16,425 is an acceptable salary for an educator working part-time? Do you think this is an acceptable salary for a person in charge of 20-30 school kids? Make it make sense to me.

You would think after all the foolishness I’ve endured in academia that I would want to quit. But then I came to my senses. I love science, and I have so many questions I want to explore, and that is something nobody can take away from me. (1/3)
There’s a lot of NONSENSE in academia, but I’m dedicated to learning and education. I think GEOSCIENCE IS RAD, and I STILL want to get a doctorates degree AND teach. I have so many cool ideas I wanna share, and like yeahhhhh my grades aren’t great, but boy let me tell you, (2/3)
My physics professor hasn’t responded to any of my emails since December of last year, so I decided to send sympathy flowers to his department. He’s alive and well (thank goodness), but my GPA won’t be doin too well if he doesn't get back to me...
