Just saw a bullish post about Trump’s $5k. Do not buy into this. If they give people that amount of money at the current interest rates, demand will spike "boosting" gdp, but inflation will spike as well. Then the Fed will hike interest rates, and after that, the initial impulse will evaporate. The government will be on the verge of entering a debt-death loop, which can only be stopped through higher taxes and/or cutting government spending.
