don’t know where to complain or whom to approach?

I raised these questions not anger, but with the hope that no child and no parent in Maharashtra should have to face such a situation.

Is this the Maharashtra we aspire to build?

My son and several other students were beaten by a teacher with a wooden rod.

As a parent, I first approached the school. No action.

I then approached the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

I have few simple questions:

Can a child loose educational continuity because a parent raised concerns about corporal punishment?

If an educated family, aware of it’s rights and willing to pursue lawful remedies, has to go through this, what happens to thousands of parents who
