@SamENole @NealFondren I agree the it should be banned. However I disagree with the premise that tech makes soccer worse. Holding isn't comparable to offsides in soccer. The old adage that holding occurs on every play is mostly true and it is a subjective call whereas offside in soccer is objective.

If you took the best athletes in the NFL or NBA, they would look either like a baby giraffe or an elephant with a ball at their feet.

Soccer skills take more time to hone and are more difficult. There are also many more to master. Line play requires no skill. Catching is a very basic skill.

My main point is that soccer is a much more skillful sport than football
