L-1:
Today: Packing, cleaning, sorting, studying, reflecting.
Tomorrow: Demonstrate what we are capable of when we work together. When we unite not out of fear, but out of a common human instinct to go beyond what is known and explore.
#TeamHuman - we’ll be home tomorrow.
L-7: One week from landing & preparations are in full swing. Today we leak checked our suits – first time we've been in the Sokol since arriving to @Space_Station on December 3rd. Like descending a mountain after a summit, landing is a critical & dynamic phase of the expedition.
@eddymott I got an elbow to the face from a female BA flight attendant once while I was sleeping in an aisle seat - so hard I thought I was going to get a black eye. Was on the way to speak at a conference. BA response ? Theyvthought it was hilarious. Just don’t get me started
Normally I would just let these things go as an accident and just forget about it. However the rudeness and obnoxiousness of your staff is so poor. They didn’t even come and ask if I was ok

The Sun is 10 degrees below the horizon, but you can still see the glow on the horizon during the twilight. In the next few weeks, they should start having some pretty spectacular Southern Lights. Picture of the South Pole Station from @iceman_90South #sunset#southpole
Interesting to watch the weather clear over the past ~48 hours from the official South Pole webcam at: https://t.co/HiLCZVyiV2 Also good news because with the Sun setting at Equinox, it should allow some great Sunset pics over the next few days! #equinox#southpole
