In 1970 my late Mum came up with ‘Iceland’ as the name of my Dad's start-up frozen food shop (other contenders were Igloo & Penguin).

In 2016 Iceland (🇮🇸) decided they didn’t like us, Iceland (❄️), owning the trademark…so this month it went all the way to the EUIPO Grand Court.
