The monstrous act committed by Sadiq Jibrin Gadah has left me utterly shocked. As I listened to the interview, I felt my body tremble with disbelief. It's not just the betrayal of taking the life of a trusted friend that terrifies me, but the realization that I've interacted with this individual several times since 2020. I vaguely recall declining his request for a loan to buy a ram for Sallah, citing Islamic principles against borrowing for such non-essential expenses. This chilling revelation underscores the danger of envy-fueled jealousy, which can dehumanize individuals, transforming them into something akin to wild beasts. He even shared a picture of his ID card. Someone I have never met from Adam. I try do much to avoid desperate people like that. This serves as a stark reminder to be cautious in choosing our friend.
May Allah protect us.
