#EducationInKaduna: 2025 is over! What is the state of Basic Education in Kaduna State? Let us scrutinize bit by bit;
Agency responsible: @KadunaSubeb
INFRASTRUCTURE:
From the onset in May 2023, Gov @ubasanius acknowledged the classroom deficit across the 23 LGAs. Through @KadunaSubeb, 221 classrooms have so far been renovated and 64 new ones have been constructed, alongside provision of 35,279 furnitures for teachers and students.
WASH FACILITIES:
Looking at the need to ensure proper hygiene across schools, KDSG constructed 516 standard restrooms and 42 boreholes across basic education schools. This was possible through inter-agency collaboration between @KDRUWASSA and @KadunaSubeb
TEACHERS’ WELFARE:
Gov @ubasanius mandated that all 23 LGAs must implement the minimum wage and consequential increment for teachers. Furthermore, @KadunaSubeb under Ag. Chairman @Mubsymohd introduced the BEST TEACHER AWARD CEREMONY; where outstanding teachers are recognized, honored and rewarded with cash 💰 and other incentives.
TEACHER DEVELOPMENT:
Within the past year, Over 5,000 teachers and School Support Officers in Kaduna have received training on Jolly Phonics, ECCDE, School-Based, STEP, School Leadership, Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), and Teacher Professional Development Program; all aimed at enhancing learning outcomes for students.
TEACHING & LEARNING MATERIALS:
394,743 Teaching and Learning Materials have been distributed to schools, supporting teachers and learners as well as 7,584 Sports Equipment to enhance sporting activities across schools.
INCLUSIVE EDUCATION:
Community Learning just got easier with @PLANE_Nigeria’s learning hubs as well as assistive devices to enhance inclusive education. @KADSAMHSA under @josephoike have also done well to provide TaRL and Community Learning centers.
MONITORING & ENFORCEMENT:
KDSG under Gov @ubasanius procured and distributed Coaster Buses, mini buses and motorcycles across 23 LGAs for monitoring and supervision of basic education programs and activities, enhancing compliance with stipulated standards.

GOVERNOR UBA SANI LAUNCHES EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME IN ZARIA
Governor Uba Sani today launched an empowerment programme facilitated by Rt. Hon. Speaker Abbas Tajudeen at the Nasara Football Stadium in Zaria. The event was attended by the Governor of Gombe State and the Minister of Environment.
Vehicles for traditional leaders, along with agricultural inputs, machinery, and various tools, were distributed to beneficiaries across Kaduna State to boost productivity and drive community development.
Governor Uba Sani praised the initiative for aligning with the state’s priorities in agriculture, skills development, and social investment. He urged beneficiaries to use the items responsibly and emphasized that ongoing improvements in security are creating the right environment for inclusive growth. He also appreciated Speaker Abbas Tajudeen for his steadfast commitment to Kaduna State’s progress.
I keep seeing non-Muslims dismissing the Prophet’s miracle of splitting the moon as a lie. Every faith has events that defy reason. Elijah rode a chariot of fire straight to heaven. Moses parted the Red Sea as if water obeyed a command. Jesus fed thousands with a handful of loaves and fish. Elisha made a lost axe head float with nothing but a stick.
Our Prophet splitting the moon is no different, just like he travelled thousands of kilometres in a single night. The Quran says it clearly: “The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split” (Al-Qamar 54:1). And his night journey to heaven is stated plainly: “Glory be to God who carried His servant from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque” (Al-Isra 17:1).
If you do not question the impossible in your own scriptures, do not question it in ours. Miracles are not about convenience. They are about truth, even when it breaks the limits of the world you think you know.

These two men got their car crashed in Saudi Arabia. But instead of fighting and cursing each other, the time for prayer came and both prayed together.
This is one of the uncountable beauties of Islam...
