Revivals have been part of the American experience since the Pilgrims, but this Atlantic writer feels "estranged." His response can teach us something about the true Gospel: Heavenly Father will never force us into the Celestial Kingdom. If we reject being with the Father, there are other kingdoms even greater than we can imagine, where will be happy with other people who don't accept the Gospel plan. I would not want to be anywhere but the Celestial Kingdom, but there are many who wouldn't like it there. Heavenly Father has a place for them.

TRADITIONALLY...
-Women are the gatekeepers of culture. They decide what parts of culture change or keep.
-Men are the gatekeepers of laws and the geography of a civilization.

I wish I could watch and see MORE of the BoM.

Little did we know then what challenges we’d be facing just a few decades later.

@ldslaw I've prayed it out again and again and again, giving it to the Savior. The pain was too much to carry.

And now, if I ever happened to run into them, I'm 100% certain I'd be able to throw out a "love you" hand sign l, mean it, then respect their space and walk away.

They have made their choices. I have made mine to forgive and let Jesus take it away, because wondering for the rest of my life would destroy me.
