Just launched Snaapi today! ๐
I got tired of rebuilding the same pieces on every project so I built the tool I always wanted.
Take a spreadsheet or schema into a full production API with auth, admin dashboard, docs, webhooks, audit logs, and even built in MCP server for AI agents all in minutes.
Extremely happy with how it turned out. Would love honest feedback from other founders, developers, and technical teams.
๐ Snaapi is live!
Tired of piecing together auth, dashboards, docs, webhooks, and monitoring every time you ship an API?
Start with a spreadsheet or schema, instantly get a complete production backend:
- Dynamic REST API (full CRUD, relationships, JSON:API, pagination, filtering, real-time SSE)
- Enterprise auth + RBAC (email/SSO/API keys, field & row-level security)
- Webhooks, events & background jobs
- Built-in MCP server for AI agents
- Admin UI, OpenAPI docs, audit logs, observability
No more vendor sprawl. Everything included.
๐ Try it now: https://t.co/kFgqXz9PVa
Feedback from builders & technical teams is welcome and appreciated ๐

One challenging part of shipping APIs is keeping documentation up to date. With AI agents this dramatically increased, costing teams time and money. Agents are faster than humans at reading and writing so its crucial documentation is up to date so youโre not wasting tokens and time on the wrong implementation.
This was an easy decision to make a core feature of Snaapi, automatic documentation for both humans and agents. When you ship a change, the documentation is updated without manual intervention saving time for both humans and agents.

Deno 2.6 is here:
๐ ๏ธ `dx` is the new `npx`
โก faster typechecking with tsgo
๐ improved security with `deno audit --socket`

I'm Stoked! Tuesday. #KubeCon. 6:40pm during KubeCrawl. Come On Down to the CVE Price Is Right at the @chainguard_dev booth with me and @adrianmouat, seeing who can guess the closest (but not over!) the CVE count of popular open source project images for prizes #DevOps#DevSecOps #Sponsored
I've shared the full transcript of every agentic coding session from implementing the unobtrusive Ghostty updates and provided commentary alongside about my thinking and process. Total cost: $15.98 over 16 sessions. "Vibing a Non-Trivial Ghostty Feature" https://t.co/kRUSWyMSyW
๐ข Alright, so I'm going to release this!
It'll be a CLI-based screen/cam recorder for macOS. It's going to be a week or two until it's fully ready.
But until then, sign up on the waitlist and I'll let you know when it's available!

You could also use @dagger_io as it has sandboxing to protect the host.

You can also run your CI anywhere with Dagger, including on that fancy new laptop hardware!
Bonus Points: We have a GitHub Actions integration as well so itโs super easy to get started!

Did you know GitHub Actions workflow injections are a common vulnerability? ๐ฑ
Here's how to protect your repo:
โก๏ธ Understand what workflow injections are.
โก๏ธ See how CodeQL can find these weak spots in your code.

Switched from ZSH to Fish Shell on macOS and hit a โnon-standard shellโ error.
Wrote up the fix and a few tips if youโre thinking of doing the same ๐

I just found my favorite MCP Server SDK - it's Dagger!
$ dagger -m <module> mcp
Dagger modules can be exposed as MCP servers. It means that your MCP servers will be containerized out of the box. Plus, you won't have to deal with the official MCP SDKs - one less thing to learn.
New feature: Dagger and GitHub Copilot Chat!
Ask questions and it automatically searches Daggerโs docs to provide context and links from inside your editor. Answers from documentation are now one chat message away!

Sneak peek ๐ bringing @dagger_io to @code as an extension.
Imagine running your pipelines and modules right inside the editor. Still rough in spots, especially output UX, but hereโs an early preview ๐

๐ Update! The VS Code extension for @dagger_io now has a smoother UI for exploring and running functions!
You can also save function calls as @code Tasks for quick reuse (without providing args each time!). This makes running workflows even easier right from your editor.
