@wagsSC Well timed "pending peace" Truth Social post to 🚀the market before final closing. Guessing there will be no news to the contrary before it opens strong in the AM.
@CharityBetDave Before this announcement, $HAL already owned 20%. Not a knee jerk lean-in. Continued support and accumulation of any equity they can acquire.
@StephenKalil@BubleQe If the CB deems a transaction complex, it extends the timeline. If they send a supplemental information request (SIR), the 30 day service standard doesn't fire up until the SIR requests are fully satisfied. This can take some time. NAL is no-action letter. Pretty common.
@IDntMakeThRules I'm not sure how UE/Stewart & Stevenson biz doesn't go through the roof here. Astronomical capex flowing to these mobile generation/distribution assets and few with the expertise/facilities/workforce to do en masse. #FinTwit $kex
@parisbiker@tsxman Because they seem to understand that this is a big game of musical chairs... Half of these projects likely never get off the ground. Hard to discern who has a real technology here and who just has a turbine with some auxillary cables.
In case anyone was wondering why $HAL released a one-line 8K yesterday clarifying their ownership in VoltaGrid… Huge win for that power solution and proving that technology with one of the giants. Not priced in $HAL whatsoever.

@ValueEric@EnergyRealist25 Deficit (vs the PY) arises from a reclass of LT debt to current portion of LTD. The current portion of LTD is still way less than what they were able to repay last year.
Agree that this Q was not bad. I think their 25 in NAM probably looks BETTER this yr than last. Overreaction.
@djlowe Gospel. Buying back in now. Losing a Venezuela rig is too bad but Canada remains solid and US is potentially looking up for them (absent Trump/OPEC killing price).
Really like $lbrt as a business; top tier operators & great equipment. Don't get the race to remote power unless they're going to spin and PIPE at some better valuation. Bringing a twig to a knife fight with <4x EBITDA dollars... @djlowe@TeddyGambino https://t.co/vfPxA3kNPw
@djlowe I get how OFS has experience in remote power and remote operations but reality is that valuations kneecap this line of business. Esp when competing with privates like VoltaGrid and startups who raise money at better valuations. Market is mature by the time they get to scale.
@TeddyGambino@rakoraja Yeah, a bit of a data vacuum there outside of PV. Feels like this is a low watermark though. Price environment feels like activity trends up from here.
@GreyHairOpsGuy@TeddyGambino@djlowe I would expect they’ll continue on with STEP as a private company owned by ARC… can’t see them making a change of any consequence.
