@jackmiddleton95 Why are you the candidate again if the people didn’t vote for you this time? Could it be that the public didn’t like you? Or hasn’t that crossed your mind?
@MearnsKris@ionafyfe The 3 schools my kids attend are open for their educational requirements today, I’m not sure why you are having a go at me for stating that all kids, teachers should get the holiday or none!
Maybe I just like fairness across the board and you are just a keyboard warrior!
@DM_No5@ionafyfe Only 5 are taking the holiday?
I know it’s the councils but I assume it’s financial and maybe some politics but if it was to happen then it should be for all!
@HughMcsween It’s not about the money it’s about holidays for me, teachers can’t normally take time off during term time so why can an MSP take holidays during parliament sitting?
@SPFLWatch No MSP from any party should get time off within parliament term time for a holiday, just as teachers don’t go on holiday during term time!
Nothing to do with politics just practical commence sense when recess over the summer is approx 8 weeks long.
@indy_swim@MargaretMc15665 Doesn’t make it right, parents get charged if they take kids out of school during term time and nobody expects teachers to take term time off either!
@forfarfred Either way, 2 of them are going during term time at Scot parliament so shouldn’t be allowed to take holidays outside of parliament shutdown times!
@John_Arab Maybe the same expectations that teachers don’t take holidays during term time should apply to any party MSP who wants to take a holiday before the summer recess of Scot Parliament for nearly 8 weeks!!!
