If Madani can ignore an official statement from TMJ and a joint demand by three senior PKR MPs, what makes you think they care about ordinary Malaysians?

Five days ago, TMJ warned that RTS is opening soon, ETS is coming, JB traffic is already collapsing, and yet the federal government has no traffic plan at all.

He even questioned why the government can approve RM17 billion for Penang LRT but suddenly claims there’s “no money” for the far cheaper JB ART system.

Madani’s response? Silence. Five straight days.

On the exact same day, three senior PKR MPs — including two former ministers — issued a joint statement demanding an RCI to investigate the US–Malaysia agreement signed by PMX, which they say sells sovereignty and damages the country.

Madani’s response? Again, silence for five days.

Worse, the whole world now sees Malaysia as a scammer country that can’t even respect its own citizenship rules, after FIFA took action against FAM months ago — and PMX still refuses to say a single word.

So let’s be honest:

If they don’t dare respond to TMJ…
If they won’t listen to their own senior MPs…
If they ignore global embarrassment over FIFA…
Do you really think they’ll care what the rakyat ask, protest or demand?

The answer is obvious:
A government that fears neither TMJ, nor its own MPs, and doesn’t care about Malaysia’s reputation abroad… is certainly not going to care about the rakyat.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim yesterday told Parliament that he had reprimanded one of his political secretaries for writing a support letter for six contractors in a hospital project last year.

However, Anwar, in response to Pasir Mas MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, did not specify which of his three political secretaries he had told off.

While searching for the answer to this question, Malaysiakini sighted an alleged letter signed by one of the political secretaries which is now circulating on social media.
