Happy 50th birthday, @britishlibrary! Totally failed to get a photo with @mcintold, but did managed to get my on-brand #DeweyDecimalSystem dress into a selfie with the always brilliant, talented, wonderful John Lloyd @MuseumOfCurios. Lovely to see you - more heckling next time 😋

In a Tipster’s Note, a View of Science Publishing’s Achilles Heel: An alleged effort to place dubious articles into special issues is part of a deeper problem.

@felflowne@LizzieGadd Integrity of something (like a paper) is definitely more than binary. One can trust the data completeness but not the hypothesis. The methodology may be completely transparent and reproducible, but they did not report the funding.
Data sharing is definitely nuanced - as most things in the scholarly arena are. The challenge is also translating the complexity to something for the public. IMHO, @timeshighered did a great job of honing one part of the data sharing conversation.
@BarbaraLancho Absolutely Barbara, it's a complex issue and one that requires further thought. If you're interested in the Q&A panel session referred to in the Times Higher story and haven't seen it already, you can find it here (available on demand): https://t.co/GJuT08fHxd
