If you want Homer and Shakespeare to endure, you're going to have to get comfortable with black and brown people acting these roles.
These are epics and myths - not realistic historical drama.
Western Civilisation is the birthright of all who accept it, not of one ethnic group.
@SteveAkehurst@BNHWalker I have 8% of 2024 Greens currently voting Reform in my latest, more than went to any other party (Lab 2, Con 2, LD 4). Consideration situation is reversed, i.e. current Greens much more likely to consider Lab or LD than Reform (or Con).
New post just out:
"Where's the centre?"
I have an exclusive new poll which challenges conventional wisdom on one of the biggest questions in British politics.
It turns out median voters aren't swing voters....

@hbrooks_coach Strong agree with this. I really like Ange and his achievement in the EL is legitimately a major one. But IMO he did tacitly accept going out and losing league games for around three straight months, and I think the consequences have lasted.
@JackPittBrooke I have the sense watching us that whenever the opposition really needs to, they can score. We can dominate a half, but as soon as you see 3 or 4 oppo players show some urgency, fight and a little quality, you know they're gonna cut through us. Any number of games this season.
Beware of the inherent positivity bias in polls. Find a comparative framework. Try to work out how much people actually care. And test against the trade-offs.

In the latest episode of The Political Marketing Podcast the Labour Party’s polling pro, @mcleodp, explains his view that Labour can’t rely on progressive votes alone.
A progressive-only strategy doesn't work because three quarters of the seats Labour is defending have a right-wing party in second place; and because there has been a 7-point swing against progressives as a whole since the election.
@LukeTryl No question that views are negative, but if you're trying to find out whether the public actually believes he's on the way out, this Q isn't the way to do it. Gotta start with a binary KS will/will not be leader at next GE, not a 4-point scale with 3 "will not" options.
Republicans are where Democrats were a year ago - in charge and taking the blame for the economy.
