@biancoresearch I'm going with a "hold" 7-5. No inkling for reducing rates, but enough concern that one data point will flip to a hike and if too hot then 50 bp hike.
@RevShark I'm not normally with Trump yet I find myself thinking cut rates by 25% to entice banks to lend with long end rates higher. I doubt a cut or hike will effect the long end. If long end is higher, retirees may jump at the safer higher rates increasing tax revenues and spending.
@Seniorstrategen Would not a cut in rates, keep the long end high, and allow for short term cheaper fuel to roll treasuries, push retirees out the yield curve giving them more money to spend and get banks lending as well. If there is growth, great. I am suspect on the growth aspect.
@TripleNetInvest 5M @ 5% @ 20% effective tax bracket yields 200K annually after tax. I think this could be a good base for retirement without touching principal. Yes Inflation might eat away.
@billpeduto Sam and Dario are so promotional. They need trillions of funding. Might as well make it feel like a slam dunk. Get the feds scared enough to help them build a monopoly in βfrontier modelsβ
@billpeduto You do realize this is coming whether itβs regulated or not. We are far from AGI. There are some building blocks. AGI will be here when the data centers are in space completely unregulated, with free solar power and free cooling. Costs will be logistics of maintenance
@histories_arch Are we now going to posit that climate change created species to evolve into homo sapiens? Could climate change evolve homo sapiens species into the next species to withstand warmer temperatures?
@0x_RWA@saranormous 75% of workers will use the function that is run by these data centers. The other 25% are generally the most dangerous when they have idle hands/minds & no purpose. 50% of them are employees building roads, buildings, doing maintenance, which leaves 12.5% who want opportunity.
