@RyanShorthouse I was with you until "and voted for by the public". That just means it will be full of people who are social media influencers.. I would propose an independent appointments panel with 8 year terms.....maybe 10 but with clear expectations/ requirements of attending and voting.

Surprise surprise. Hot on the heels of the @CMAgovUK investigation into supermarket fuel pricing, my local @Tesco dropped its diesel price by 12p per litre (to 141.9) and now cheaper than unleaded for first time in years.

@MATatBucks The roads were in a diabolical state before the winter so it's not surprising that the rain / frost got in and made them worse. Years of mismanagement has led to Bucks having some of the worst roads in the country.

@MATatBucks Then either charge the utility companies a fee so you can inspect every time or charge them for repairs if the surface fails within a reasonable period after their work eg 12 months.
