@LowStudies@CharlesTingler@Craig_Truglia@HwsEleutheroi@grok I understand the iconophile vs iconoclast debate perfectly fine. My statement of confusion was specifically on how your comment pertains to the debate question itself, which you never answered. Feel free to pretend to not understand though
@thrawnftw@MetzUAC1530 Getting back to this. How do you know you are understanding the authoritative infallible interpreter though? After all, you hear the words or read them on a page. If the Bible, written by God, canβt be trusted as infallible & authoritative, neither can you trust the pope
@thrawnftw@MetzUAC1530 Okay so your position is that Protestants reject INFALLIBLE authority, not authority writ large. As a result, we "allow" heresy. How would you define Protestant? Just "non-Roman Western Christian"? Or do you allow for narrow definitions, like only Lutherans, Presbys, & Anglicans?
@KAWRoebbelen@MetzUAC1530 I donβt see where he said the Lutheran canon was closed though? Are you inferring that from his statement about us affirming the traditionally accepted canon?
@TJandCasper Better get to pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and up those hours to 80. Maybe donβt buy Starbucks so much and find a roommate. Your retirement isnβt my problem
