@FrankLeeSG Yes, my co-resident in psychiatry was committed for having manic symptoms, just before graduating. Psychiatrists certainly aren't exempted. It was the best situation for them and now they're a thriving, practising psychiatrist.
@HenMazzig As a doctor from Montreal, he is probably moving to the US due to Quebec's restrictive practice policies for doctors. Antisemitism in Montreal is no greater than elsewhere.
@BoringBiz_ Maybe he sees untapped opportunity in Argentina, just like he did in the US. He's on his way to make his family much richer and more powerful
@govindrkannan@MarioNawfal it's to bring the patient to hospital for a psych assessment, it only allows for a temporary hold. It's still disruptive, but usually this happens when the family has expressed concerns and the patient is a danger to themselves or others
@DrMcFillin someone who clearly has never seen true bipolar disorder, which makes sense, you're a psychologist, not a psychiatrist. Stick with what you know
