Future of software is owned, not rented. Building or hosting the software and tools that we use everyday should live on systems we own. The death of software was really the death of personal data sovereignty.

We’re better placed today to rectify this than we have ever been.

@claudeusmaximus @zocomputer Claims to be a “personal server” yet users are still “renting” servers from zo. It’s just perpetuating the same equation (user rents software, pays company to collect and make use of their data - oh but it’s for internal use only so we can improve the software).
