I agree 100%. It’s a shame they don’t have time and energy to communicate with him, and instead just absorb the constant abuse until the supervisor snapped and let his emotions get to him. She should not have disrespected him with that last “Was that so hard?” comment, and the supervisor was just wrong on his response.

Every step of the way, they refuse to explain things to him. They just ignore his incorrect assertions and don’t care enough to talk to him like a person. If I had to deal with that guy and worse all day, it would wear on me too, and I would get emotional, which is why I’m not a police officer. :)

The last few months of Tesla FSD have been just absolutely shocking for me. My car does all my driving. This is no longer science fiction. This is now. I'm still going to be in disbelief in the near future when everyone else takes it for granted.

I was diagnosed with autism at 51 years of age. I have been seeing therapists my entire life and even had a 1 month psychiatric ward stay in the 90s, and they couldn’t see it. With today’s screening and tests, I’m identified 100% of the time correctly. Another anecdotal point, I have 4 adult children. All 4 are formally diagnosed autistic, one profoundly. I see your point and don’t entirely disagree with you. However the genetic component is an obvious and major factor in autism. The biggest, in my experience. What’s happening in California could also be largely genetics combined with culture. Lots of engineers out there, having babies late in life. There could be regional environmental contributions to it, of course.. But detection has improved drastically, and never before have nerds scored so much in California.

We are wired differently BECAUSE there’s something wrong with us. The white matter connections don’t seem to be as good as the normies, meaning the gray matter has to do more with less and wire itself differently just to function. Meanwhile the white matter sprays info all over the place causing overstimulation that the normies don’t have.

But I’ll throw my case in there, too. All 4 of my kids are also diagnosed autistic, and they all grew up in different environments, and different decades. Only one has a learning disability. It’s statistically bizarre if it’s not genetic at all.

Bought my first last month.. It was very easy, but I would appreciate the ability to “bounce around” with the steps in the app, and make changes freely until full commitment is required. I had to weigh options between trade-in, financing, and insurance, but the app isn’t very transparent with which choices are commitments and which choices can be changed, and even which choices are required and when.

LOVE the car. I just wish I had a better “big picture” roadmap of the process.
