Introducing Tidy Mac π
I was paying $39.95 a year for CleanMyMac just to free up space on my Mac.
So I built my own.
It finds what's eating your disk and cleans it safely. This week: tap β₯ twice and your Desktop sorts itself.
$9.99 once. 2 Macs. Every update included.
My median Claude Code session was 252k tokens.
160 of my 230 sessions in one week went past 150k. That's why I kept hitting the usage limit mid-task, not the plan.
The fixes that brought it down, most of them free, in the reply.
Most forms do this:
You type "it was bad."
The form says thanks.
Nobody ever finds out bad how.
I built one that asks back: "bad how, the price or something it couldn't do?" Free, unlimited responses, no card.
Run a form that loses people halfway? Send it over and I'll rebuild it as a conversation, free, this week.
Ghostty's app was the demo. libghostty was the product.
A couple million people use the app. One integration just put the library in front of 12.5 million JetBrains users.
JetBrains IDEs are now powered by libghostty! This brings huge feature and performance improvements to JB terminals! Based on their own annual reports, that's over 12.5 million active users across all platforms about to get a libghostty-powered terminal. https://t.co/DOG78NoGBp
I'll repeat myself: libghostty is and was always the primary goal of the Ghostty project (I said this in the first public talk I ever gave about Ghostty). The importance and impact of a free, liberally licensed, high quality terminal emulator library that runs anywhere and everywhere dwarfs any single terminal emulator application on its own.
I've estimated Ghostty's (GUI, not libghostty) own users at around a couple million. Overnight, 6x that are using a libghostty-powered terminal. From one integration.
Happy to see this, happy to hear JetBrains had a positive experience, and looking forward to continuing to improve and ship a stable libghostty tag soon!
