A huge thank you to the members of MPP’s Community Advisory Panel (CAP).
Over the past three years, CAP members have brought their expertise, lived experience and community insight into conversations that shape how access to medicines is approached and delivered.
Their contributions have helped ensure that MPP’s work stays connected to real-world challenges, and to the people behind them. As we build on this milestone, we are opening the next chapter of the CAP.
📢 The call for applications is now open > we are looking to bring in new voices, particularly from underrepresented regions and disease areas.

What does it really mean to put communities at the centre of access to medicines?
In this video, @LubaMaureen, public health specialist, global policy leader at @HIVpxresearch, and community representative on MPP’s Board, shares why listening to communities is not just important, but essential to shaping better, more equitable decisions.
With over a decade working across global health institutions, policymakers, researchers and communities, her perspective is a powerful reminder: access strategies are stronger when they are informed by the people they are meant to serve.
📢 Applications are now open to join the Community Advisory Panel (CAP).

Communities don’t just inform our work, they shape it.
As the first three-year term of MPP’s Community Advisory Panel (CAP) has come to a close, we are celebrating the people who have brought community perspectives into the heart of how we think about access to medicines.
In this video, Charles Gore reflects on what the CAP has meant for MPP, and why staying connected to the realities of patients and communities is essential to making access strategies more relevant and meaningful.

At #WHA79, GARDP joined critical conversations, shaping the global response to antimicrobial resistance.
From a @reactgroup roundtable calling for funded National Action Plans, accountable systems and LMIC representation at the heart of decision-making, to a @Roche & @MedsPatentPool discussion on anticipatory investment and long-term public-private collaboration — the week underscored that innovation, access and stewardship must be treated as global public goods.
Thank you to @EC_HERA , @pahowho, ReAct, Roche, MPP and all partners championing collective action against #AMR.

At #ASCO26, the conversation is rightly focused on innovation.
@MedsPatentPool is a partner of choice to explore how innovation can reach patients in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in a sustainable way while generating value for patent holders.
🤝🏽 Natacha Debbané, Romain Dissard and Giulia Segafredo of @MedsPatentPool will be on site and would welcome discussions with stakeholders across the oncology ecosystem on (early) access planning and scalable access pathways.
💡 Voluntary licensing is a practical mechanism to help expand patient reach in untapped LMICs markets, enabling quality-assured supply while innovators stay focused on core markets.
🚀 And the model is already delivering in oncology: @MedsPatentPool has signed a licence with @Novartis for nilotinib (a treatment for chronic myeloid leukaemia), and licensed generic supply has begun reaching patients in LMICs, demonstrating what partnership-based access can achieve in practice.
If you’re attending ASCO and would like to connect, reach out to our team on LinkedIn.
