Keep Reading black literature, it helps to show representation of black people in the literacy sphere, holds history of the past, decolonises mindset, breaks stereotypes and documents cultural change. #KeepReading and stay #BlackRooted ✊🏾

Congrats Professor for being the most hated Black Man in the UK this week 👏🏾✊🏾😂
Life hack.
Men: follow outspoken women on twitter.
Don't get pissy when they don't follow back. They aren't here for you.
Listen to what they say. Learn something.
Never "not all men."
If you do, congrats, you just became a little bit better as a person.
The thing is, I prefer this sort of racism where it's direct and honest.
It let's me know who and what I'm dealing with.
It's the obscured prejudices that are dangerous because hate hates behind the security of safety.

This is wild. The way female oppression is applied across cultures is really mind blowing. An American woman wants equal pay, a Nigerian woman wants autonomy in her home, Saudi women just want to drive. https://t.co/hK6Eke0N5v
May we never be ashamed of standing for unfairly treated or marginalized people because they’re not from our region, religion, race, ethnicity, sect or gender.
#Rape is the only crime on the books for which arguing that the temptation to commit it was too clear and obvious to resist is treated as a defence. For every other crime, we call that a confession.
If you're a man upset at being lumped in with rapists, attackers and general arseholes just because of your gender, maybe take it up with the men who give us a bad name instead of women who have to be on guard 24/7 because of them.
I’m not here to be ‘nice’. I’m privileged enough to be in a position to resist patriarchy to the best of my ability but as long as women are still dying in their marriages and being murdered as a result of men refusing to address their own demons, it makes no sense to be silent.
