Maybe they can also just look into minimizing admin work on teachers to give them enough time to spend on the high classroom volumes, which they are struggling to deal with, CLEARLY! Because why is one person teaching 46-55 learners??😖😖
Managing a class of 46 learners
Managing classroom behavior
Individual monitoring and support.
Marking and assessing 7 subjects X 46 (learners)…
On top of that, you are dealing with lack of resources and discipline problems.
Learning support.
Lesson planning (submitted weekly)..
TARL …
Reading a lone needs special attention.
Then extracurricular activities.. (if you don’t avail yourself, you are not good enough to be an HOD or principal one day.🤣
Poor ventilation in the classrooms.
Poor network connectivity to integrate technology so, that you can show your learners nice things on your laptop ( you must use your already expensive data to hotspot yourself) but parliamentarians are getting free IPhones and internet. They can’t even give us laptops for our admin work.
We use our petty cash to buy teaching aid and some parents will still insult us at any given moment!
In between all that, you are a police officer, psychologist, Doctor, mother, father and everything they need for holistic learning.
Then you add parents who are never wrong with only 10% who can afford to be present fully. The rest are either uninformed or uninterested.🥲🤦♀️
Can we talk about policies that don’t align with what’s happening on the ground?💀😭
Nooooooooooo!!!! I love my job but, nooo!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭
@CoWMunicipality do you guys know that this whole parking system is inconveniencing us now we must look for people just to pay and after 5 they are no where to be found? Plus imagine paying 36 while your car is in the sun 🙄
The contractor responsible for the N$381-million Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road has blamed heavy traffic and a “live site” for some of the difficulties encountered during construction, after sections of the road started deteriorating before completion. https://t.co/Rtemvyyipa
Growing up @CoWMunicipality use to give out bins every now and then buy now even when You request for one they have no transport.
If you really need it you should look for those 350 transport guys
The service is definitely deteriorating day by day
School premises are meant to be safe spaces for both learners and teachers. But at Epako Secondary School in Gobabis, that sense of safety was shaken when a teacher was allegedly physically assaulted by a parent on school grounds.
The situation was brought under control after the school's security guard and several learners intervened to separate the two.
According to the school's principal, this is not an isolated incident. Following a number of security-related concerns, the school has tightened access control. From now on, all visitors are required to sign in at the gate and report to the principal's office before meeting any teacher.
The teacher has since opened a case against the parent, and police investigations are ongoing.

Trust me when I say, those are the people doing exactly that. If someone needs you to explain the problem in that scenario, that’s the problem we have with our generation of parents in education. Zero accountability!😂

@FairUK241306@purposetalks_ Walking to class means making sure your child get to class it has nothing to do with respect
They do that all the time
Test missed is a 0
@FairUK241306@purposetalks_ What you are missing here is 1.the parent is disrespectful 2.they are disturbing my lesson
Also if you just leave without an explanation should I give the child a chance to write what is missed or just move on
A simple apology
