Thankful to be back. However I am in disbelief. The rescue flight list issued by the @foreignoffice to bring bk British Citizens frm Morroco did not have ANY of my family’s name on. All non-white British citizens were not on the list. We were made to be on standby at the airport

Thanks to Khalid from TUI RAK who put us on the remaining seats on the first rescue flight back to the uk. Without being present at the airport / Morroco you will not fully comprehend the panic, loneliness and felt during this chaos. Just so Thankful I got home

@coyleneil @TSAReilly @BritsMorocco Family are now on spare TUI rescue flight seats due to dad being unwell. Thanks to KHALID from the local moroccan team for making sure we got on eventho we had 5 mins to run through security for it.Thank you all for the help these last days!!!

Update:Dad was unwell so Khalid from local morocco Tui team did his best to get us on the rescue flight from RAK. he knew we were camping at the airport for 15hrs. Bombed it through security&we are now on our way back to bham! Cannot thank KHALID enough! @TUIGroup @BritsMorocco

@helsc @BritsMorocco there is a group of us currently on standby for empty rescue seats with TUI where we have a pre-existing tickets so fingers crossed some people got home early for us to get these seats. Not sure why rescue flights have set list of names tho. Thanks again for thinking of us Helen!
