International law also says that people do not have to stop in the first safe country they reach.
Many come to the UK because they speak English, have family here, or historical links with Britain. That is perfectly normal and understandable, not suspicious.
@Rylan
@STN_Airport you need to look at your security protocol, this is ridiculous. You should be telling people to arrive 3 hours before their flight if this is how long it takes. We arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes before ours and we'll be tight on time at this rate.
Do not order from @inthestyleUK via @Debenhams . There is no way to return the parcels and both blame each other for the issue. You end up with things you don't want and can't return. Spoken to both customer services multiple times and got nowhere. It's now " too late" to return
@Ragnar_Rough @LeoMars75 @miller_susie Lots of people now work later, most 60 year olds are still in work, so grandparents doesn't work out how it used to!
@softleftism@1919ras@ZoeParamour This isn't true. I cannot teach secondary without retraining for secondary schools as I am a primary teacher. However, secondary teachers can become primary school teachers without retraining.
We are in the endgame now surely - so many absences, so many quitting, so many agencies making a killing, so few thinking 'I'll be a teacher'.
When will the govt realise they need to bin OFSTED and radically increase PPA?
When will we run out of teachers? Soon.
Yet some projects stand out.
Incredibly, £267m has been spent on the Lower Thames Crossing’s 63,000 page planning application.
Norway built the world’s longest road tunnel and the world’s deepest subsea tunnel for less.
Graham Linehan says he's "still waiting for an example" of his vile bullying behaviour.
Here's a non-exhaustive thread of Graham's vile bullying behaviour. 1/
@KariWardle @KyahProbst @12manhawksfan@emilykmay I don't think all kids in school are old enough to make their own lunches and even if they are, it would require mum to sort what those would be, have stuff pre prepared and available, be around to supervise the use of cutting and knives etc.
@MrMartinSir@NEUnion@ProudHeadTeach1 I don't think it's a great deal, but considering the offer of 4.5% unfunded, it's a good step. Considering the junior doctors its unlikely we'd get anything else
@MrMartinSir@NEUnion@ProudHeadTeach1 Are you on the leadership scale? I've been on strike every day and have lost around £400 from my pocket as a result, £1000 I cannot understand
