@0eskobar0@AmyB_Writes@MP23BV@roddy_grainne Shipping them means caring about whether they are together or not. Who someone is or isn’t in a relationship with outside of their job is none of your business.
@0eskobar0@AmyB_Writes@MP23BV@roddy_grainne Yea I’m gonna disagree and say that it is disrespectful to actors to ship them as real life people. That’s treating real life humans as characters.
@AmyB_Writes@MP23BV@roddy_grainne It literally feels like people forget/ignore that these are real people, not characters. And that can get downright dangerous sometimes
@AmyB_Writes@MP23BV@roddy_grainne I will never not find real life shipping to be incredibly creepy parasocial behavior. And the lukolas go so over the top about it too.
@timesnewemma Or it’s the answer of a parent who is trying to encourage their child to discover answers in her own rather than being given the answer. It’s actually a really good teaching tool & a lot of people these days actually aren’t very good at finding answers that aren’t handed to them
@yum_1312 What a mess! I was able to book the Osaka location with minimal difficulty early this morning but it sounds like the Tokyo website crashed big time.
@faenaerys@generickrautgal Unsolicited and unwanted advice isn’t advice. Hobbyists aren’t seeking your critique. Don’t give advice no one asked for. If you don’t like someone’s writing don’t read it.
@antiviral_mktng Why are we destroying friendships instead of leaving early, setting alarms or otherwise managing not to always be leaving people waiting? Why is it on the non late friend to save the friendship?
@cowgirl_bebop I don’t think the friend should have accepted if she didn’t want to read it because that’s just going to be awkward when she’s asked about it. A no thank you without the ‘that’s really weird’ would have been better, but also, this is a person who was struggling
@ThrillaRilla369 No. I always wanted my own career. And now as a mom in my 40s with teenagers, I am noticing that many of my peers are struggling to re enter the workforce and many are leaving their marriages now that the kids are grown.
@MoreOrLessAMess My grandma had my mom at 19 and my mother experienced a lot of trauma from having a mother who had kids she didn’t really want. My mom packaged up that trauma and passed it down to me. Her siblings did the same with their kids.
@oliveegger We are talking about a person who was apparently going through a difficult time. Could she have handled the gesture with more grace? Yes calling it weird was unnecessary. But saying no thank you and not accepting the gesture was perfectly reasonable
@yitt78@michael_the_iii Zelle etc are not available in Canada because we have e-transfer. So if we are in the US, as in the scenario above, the answer will be that we don’t have any of those apps.
