BEGINNING OF DAY 13 OF MY #CLIMATEFAST
250 people slept hungy in - 12 °C to remind the Indian Government of their promises to safegurad Ladakh's environment and tribal indigenous culture.
First of all many heartfelt thanks to all who participated in yesterday's protests in different cities. Updates are still pouring in & we'll share this evening.
This Government likes to call India the 'Mother of Democracy'. But if India denies democratic rights to people of Ladakh & continues to keep it under bureaucrats controlled from New Delhi then it could only be called a Stepmother of Democracy as far as Ladakh is concerned.

In recent days, Israeli forces have heavily bombed areas near Nasser hospital in #Gaza, causing panic among patients & displaced people seeking refuge there. Leo Cans, our Head of Mission in Palestine, urgently calls for a ceasefire as he describes the situation on the ground 👇
My dads an incredibly smart man.
•Great leader
•Can fix anything
•Socially strong & networks well
•Read a book a week for 30 years
He NEVER moved up in his company.
I asked him WHY & the answer he gave me brought me to tears.
Here’s the best lesson my dad ever taught me.
“I’m Said, I’ve lived in beautiful Gaza for 31 yrs. Today may be my last day.
We are proud of our Palestinianness til our last breath. I don’t forgive the world East & West for what will happen to us. I hope our pictures haunt you”

5 steps to sell *anything*
1. Find a problem
2. Solve the problem
3. Create content to point out the problem to people who have it
4. Create content to hype up the benefits of solving the problem
5. Position your product as the obvious solution
It really is that simple.
The Golden Boys. They ran like the wind. And passed the baton flawlessly. Teaching us that we run fastest when we run together. That lesson will not be lost on us… 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
18 years ago, a struggling actor named Bryan Cranston made a shift that changed his life.
His mindset (and how you can use it to change yours):
Bryan was going from audition to audition but not getting parts.
He was trying to win the job each time.
But he had the job wrong...
Old mindset:
The purpose of an audition was to get a job.
New mindset:
The purpose of an audition was to serve the script in a unique way that only he could do.
Whether he got the job or not was up to someone else.
This mindset shift was an inflection point in his career. Bryan has been busy ever since, starting with guest roles on Seinfeld to 6 Emmy awards for Breaking Bad.
Takeaway:
Attachment to outcome gets in the way of our best work. This is true in business, in art, in life.
Goals are important because they set a direction. But goals are in the future.
If you are overly focused on your goal in the moment, it will block your authentic best.
As the Stoic Philosopher Seneca wrote:
“The more you seek to control external events, the less control you will have over your own life.”

Put the best content of your resume in the top left.
People read in an F-pattern:
They read the top and left most content first.
Eye-tracking studies have made this clear for years.
This means, don't use the top left for:
• Design elements
• Skills & certifications
• A vague summary of your background
Much better uses of this space are:
• Clear context on your impact
• Most impactful launches & features
• Quick encapsulation of your value prop
The top left is also where to focus your optimization.
You can't count on almost anyone reading the bottom right.
