This example shared by Alex is exactly why we set up MeIncluded. Now people are out and about again we hope they’ll leave a note of their good and bad accessibility experiences with us. Companies tend to (have to) listen when many voices comes together.
My partner who is a wheelchair user just got refused from an empty 27 bus as there was "another one in 2 minutes" (there wasn't) in other words the driver couldn't be bothered to get the ramp out. The everyday ableism my partner faces on a daily basis is scandalous. Not okay @TfL
To understand the breadth of suffering we sometimes just have to focus one one thing to help us feel the horror. I think #operationark became that thing and @penfarthing should know he has shown the world what we have done and what we could have done..and can still do @BWallaceMP

It's great to hear about a business listening to a customer's experience and doing something about it. But it is poor their customer had to go through this in the first place to be heard.
Awful to hear about E J Osborne's death. He was an amazing talent.
Sharing this fundraising link, money being raised for his wife and their daughter.

@disabledkenny1 That's a great idea. If you want to capture feedback from your group, our review website is free for all. We can then have a look at what people's experiences in Oldham are.

Thousands of families, us included were unreservedly LET DOWN & FORGOTTEN during lockdown
Disabled children & families..
always bottom of the pile
Me, a wheelchair user:”What do you expect me to do?
The outdoor tables have completely blocked the sidewalk.
Restaurant employee:”What do you expect us to do? That’s all the seating we have.”
Covid19 is no excuse to block access for disabled people.
Can you help us?
We need to reach more people. Disabled and non-disabled people who all share a common need - to visit places that are accessible and have good facilities.
The more reviews people leave, the bigger impact we can make.
Thank you.

If enough of us speak up, our voices will be heard.
How? By leaving reviews about our experiences of how accessible places are and good the facilities are.
