make a list of all the things that interest you that you’ve never tried;

look for mentors to talk about those dreams you set aside;

don’t worry you’re too old or what other people will think.

Occasional concessions by lawmakers will not silence our calls for respect of our fundamental rights. #arleg recently amended #SB270, but it is clearly an attempt to discriminate against trans Arkansans. We must expand our state civil rights law to protect our LGBTQ community.

I want to retire but I don’t b/c I would lie on my couch and wait to die if I had no reason to get up.

I’ve tried taking up a new hobby, but nothing stuck.

Andy interviewed Deborah Lillian who turned 60 and began making hats. She’d always loved hats & saw herself as a hatmaker.

She enrolled in a Paris hat school when covid shut it & the border down while she was in the US. So she just started making hats and posting them on IG.

When I was a high school librarian, I wanted to add more biographies about women to our biography section. I had a hard time finding any. Dana Rubin went searching for speeches given by women. She found 75 and compiled a book. We need to hear these voices.
