*NEW* Effective Immediately Oyen Hospital Emergency is on Diversion, due to serious staffing constraints. EHS EMS & Patients are being diverted to Kindersley SK (100KM), Hanna (113KM), Leader SK (117KM), Coronation (135KM), Provost (140KM), Brooks (187KM) or Medicine Hat (196KM). This is scheduled to be in effect until at least August 24th. No Inpatient admitting will be permitted either. Can we say Road Trip?!?!?!!

Alberta's gov't is allowing self-referral & pay privately for MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, X-rays without a physician’s referral. They defend this by pointing to countries like Germany, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea.
